Hello Pest Control CA is committed to providing a website and digital experience that can be used by as many people as reasonably possible, including people with disabilities. We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing process and that digital accessibility depends on design, development, content, technology, and continued testing.

01 Our Accessibility Commitment

We are working toward improving the accessibility and usability of hellopestcontrol.ca and intend to incorporate recognized accessibility practices into future website updates.

We have not completed a formal independent accessibility audit of the Website as of the date of this statement. Accordingly, we do not currently represent or certify that every page, feature, document, or interaction on the Website conforms to a particular WCAG conformance level.

As accessibility improvements are implemented and verified, we intend to update this statement to accurately describe the Website's accessibility status.

02 Accessibility Standards and Guidance

Our accessibility work is informed by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and applicable Canadian accessibility guidance. Where appropriate to our organization and applicable legal requirements, we intend to work toward WCAG Level AA practices.

Accessibility requirements can vary depending on the organization, jurisdiction, website, digital service, and applicable law. This statement should not be interpreted as a certification of compliance with WCAG, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, the Accessible Canada Act, or any other legislation unless expressly stated and supported by a completed assessment.

03 Areas We Intend to Address

As part of our ongoing accessibility work, we intend to address areas such as:

  • Keyboard accessibility and visible focus indicators.
  • Logical heading structure and semantic HTML.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and graphics.
  • Sufficient colour contrast and readable typography.
  • Accessible labels and instructions for forms and controls.
  • Clear error identification and understandable form feedback.
  • Responsive layouts and usable content across screen sizes.
  • Compatibility with common assistive technologies where reasonably practicable.
  • Accessible link names, buttons, navigation, and interactive components.
  • Accessible documents and downloadable content where such content is provided.
  • Avoidance or mitigation of unnecessary motion, flashing, or other potentially problematic visual effects.

04 Current Limitations

Because a formal accessibility audit has not yet been completed, some parts of the Website may contain accessibility barriers or may not fully satisfy all applicable accessibility criteria.

Third-party content, tools, embedded services, maps, analytics interfaces, or external websites may also be subject to accessibility limitations outside our direct control.

05 Alternative Ways to Contact Us

If you have difficulty accessing information on the Website or using an online form, you may contact us directly and we will make reasonable efforts to assist you through an alternative communication method.

Telephone: 437-556-3606

Email: hellopestcontrol9@gmail.com

Mailing address: 345 Nugget Ave Unit 15, Scarborough, ON M1S 4J4, Canada

When contacting us about an accessibility barrier, please describe the page or feature involved, the nature of the difficulty, and the preferred way for us to respond. Providing this information helps us investigate and address the issue more effectively.

06 Accessibility Feedback

We welcome feedback from customers, website visitors, and other members of the public regarding the accessibility of our Website. Accessibility feedback helps us identify barriers that may not be apparent during routine testing.

You may submit accessibility feedback by email at hellopestcontrol9@gmail.com or by telephone at 437-556-3606.

We will review accessibility feedback and, where reasonably practicable, take appropriate steps to address identified barriers. We may also use feedback to inform future website design, development, content, and testing.

07 Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project. We intend to incorporate accessibility considerations into future website updates and to improve our processes as standards, technologies, and best practices evolve.

When a formal accessibility assessment is completed, this statement may be revised to identify the assessment methodology, applicable standard, conformance status, known exceptions, and planned remediation activities.
